AIOLOS

Divine keeper of the winds…

King of the mythical, floating island of Aiolia, Aiolos kept the violent storm-winds locked safely away inside the cavernous interior of his isle, releasing them only at the command of the greatest gods to wreak devastation upon the world.

In search of those mythical winds Aiolos, a 50” luxury sailing catamaran, guided by her experienced skipper and crew know exactly the right places to take you. Pristine beaches, translucent azure waters, rugged limestone islands rising from the sea… all experienced from the expansive deck of a sailing vessel – an ideal way to see the islands and the waters of this exotic country.

THE PHILIPPINES

One of the best kept secrets in the world is located in Southeast Asia between the China Sea and Pacific Ocean. The Philippines consist of over 7000 islands and is part of the largest archipelago on the planet. Often referred to as having the most spectacular and diverse landscapes you will come across, the people have a vibrancy and warmth to match. Filipinos have a rich, community based culture which welcomes visitors; they will happily share their meal, company, culture and laughter. Many islands are un-inhabited; the only way to reach them is by boat… or luxury catamaran. Named the best islands in the world numerous times by Conde Nast traveller is a particular group of sparsely populated islands surrounding one long westernmost sliver of land, called Palawan Island. Here the coastline is unique and extraordinary; an interesting adventure every day is assured.

About AIOLOS

Luxury sailing catamaran…

Aiolos is a 50 foot professionally built sailing catamaran, newly refurbished with luxurious finishes, she boasts a spacious interior to rival that of a small apartment, something not found in most sailing craft. Similarly to a domestic kitchen, the galley allows ample refrigeration and freezer and storage space, while making cooking a pleasure for friends and fellow adventurers.

Being fully equipped to live aboard without compromise, each hull contains 3 double berths and 2 bathrooms each with separate electric toilets. Enjoy hot water showers and ample storage for personal items in your private quarters. While the wind and sun remain our primary energy source, twin 54hp Yanmar engines ensure we arrive on time, even if there is nothing to be late for. A shallow draft allows us to anchor almost touching the pristine sand of deserted beaches, with a choice of two tenders for the final hop or exploratory trip.

It might be difficult to leave the relaxing daybeds laid out on expansive decks in exotic locations, however there is plenty of exciting activity to tempt the most recalcitrant adventurer.  Kitesurfing on remote sandy atolls, snorkelling untouched reef teeming with life, stand up paddleboarding in pristine shallows, hiking lush coastal rainforest or even throwing in a line to catch everyone a fresh fish dinner. Balmy tropical nights can be spent relaxing with a book, stargazing, or reliving the adventure of the day on the 6o inch TV. As the night winds on, the full sound system can chill the vibe or start the party, you choose the tunes…
